NAPCO is now Westlake Pipe & Fittings

As a reminder, NAPCO Pipe & Fittings is now Westlake Pipe & Fittings effective April 30, 2022. You have known us in the past as NAPCO Pipe & Fittings along with a number of other legacy brands and now we are redefining our business to directly reflect the true value you receive as a vendor backed by the brand equity of Westlake Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. QUESTIONS

• I am in the United States and my company cannot change the vendor name without a W-9.

  • The W9 for Westlake Pipe & Fittings is here

• I am in Canada and my company cannot change the vendor name without a W-8.

  • The W8 for Westlake Pipe & Fittings is here

• I received the letter for the name change, please provide an updated tax exemption form.

  • We have applied to the states for tax exemption certificates and direct pay permits to reflect the name change.  A tax exempt certificate or direct pay permit will be provided once available.

• Are you related to Royal Group Inc.?

  • Royal Group Inc. is also a Westlake owned company and is a Canadian trade name used by another business within Westlake Corporation. 

• Will the NAPCO Royal Pipe & Fittings operating in Canada change names?

  • The name of our Canadian entity will change from Royal Building Products – dba NAPCO Royal Pipe & Fittings, to Westlake Canada Inc. – dba Westlake Pipe & Fittings.

• Will we be getting a new credit application form?

  • A new form is not required unless a new credit review is required.

• Will the remit address / VENDOR INFORMATION change?

  • Please note the remit changes for former Plastic Trends and LASCO only.

• When should the customer address a Purchase Order (PO) as the new vendor?

  • If a W-8/W-9 is required to make the name change, the link to the new W-8/W-9 is available above.  If the form is not required, make the change to the new company name.

• What is the address for the vendor?

• Will FEIN or EIN change with the name change?

  • Westlake Pipe & Fittings will hold one W9. Please note EIN, the change for former Plastic Trends and LASCO only.

• Will there be only one 'Pay to" vendor for Westlake Pipe & Fittings in place of all these vendors?

  • We are moving to one vendor set-up for customers.  North American Pipe is the first entity to move to Westlake Pipe & Fittings.  Mid-summer, North American Specialty Products, Plastic Trends, and Lasco will move under the same name, Westlake Pipe & Fittings.  Until a notice is sent, only North American Pipe has changed their name, others will remain as-is for now.  Separate vendors are required at this time.

• My company does business with North American Pipe and North American Specialty, do either of these names change - or are both changing?

  • Both North American Pipe and North American Speciality are Westlake Pipe & Fittings. 

• With the name change, who do I send our purchase orders to now? 

  • There is no change to who you send purchase orders to for processing, it remains the same as before the name change.
